The Chinese Crested is one of the unknown exotic to date. A small breed, the chinese crested puppy is commonly recognized for its hairless variety. This cutey sports a bald body, and a leonine mane (crest) of medium-length, silky hair on the puppy's head, hocks, pasterns and plume. The "Powder Puff" dog dons smooth fur all over. Colors differ within the standard dog fur tones. A full-grown male adult or female dog will reach 11 to 13 inches of height. This puppy is very similar in size and body-type to the better-known Chihuahua.
Small canines are usually extremely popular among people who live in apartments since they take up little space and are easily cared for in an urban environment. This dog in particular thrives on a quiet life at home, most particularly in colder climates. Puppies with no hair like this one are not well suited for outdoor living and cold temperatures.
